Elizabeth
Sivill fired a round of 6-over-par 78 on her home course to become
the first Lady Hornet District Golf Champion since 2004. Sivill won
the Medalist honors by 6 strokes over the second place golfer.
Kirksville edged Brookfield for the district title.
Both shot a 368 team score but Kirksville won the tie breaker when
their 5th golfer shot a 102 compared to Brookfield's 5th golfer with
a 107.
All five Chillicothe golfers qualified for sectional
competition, which means they can compete as a team in the Sectional
tournament.
