Chillicothe
failed to put together a consistent four quarters and lost to
Lafayette 55-41 to fall to 2-4 in MEC play. Chillicothe had strong
2nd and 4th quarters with 17 and 18 points respectively, but could
only muster 3 points in each of the 1st and 3rd quarters.
Chillicothe was again bit by the turnover bug, losing
the ball on errant passes and having their pockets picked by
Lafayette. The Irish built a 9-0 lead in the first quarter and
went on to lead the entire game Chillicothe closed the gap to five
points in the 2nd quarter, but trailed by double figures for half
the 3rd and all the fourth quarters.
