     Chillicothe Senior Elizabeth Sivill tied a 12 year old Green Hills Golf Course women’s record with a 1-under-par 71 to win District Medalist honors for the second straight year. Sivill beat the second place golfer from Marceline by 2 strokes with a front nine round of 35 and a back nine round of 36.
     Sivill will be joined in the Sectional Tournament on October 5th by teammates Hannah Leamer and Shelly Rucker, both freshmen. Leamer shot a 110 and Rucker a 113 to just make the cut to sectionals.
     Shelby Hays shot a 137 and Morgan Dowell a 141 to round out the Lady Hornet scores.
     Trenton shot a 378 to take top honors and Brookfield a 408 to finish second, with both teams qualifying for the sectional team tournament. Chillicothe was 3rd out of 10 teams with a 431.
