The Chillicothe Hornets used sharp, crisp passes, a balanced offense
and free throws down the stretch to upend Lawson 63-43 in
Chillicothe.
Lawson led by one point after the first quarter but
Chillicothe opened the second quarter on a 14-0 run to pull away
from the Cardinals for the rest of the game. The run included a
monstrous dunk by 6'5" Senior Ryan Smith, who finished with a game
high 12 points.
Lawson attempted to get back on track in the 3rd
quarter but Chillicothe continued to pound away at the Cardinals,
leading by 20 points twice in the quarter. In the fourth, Lawson
went to the foul game but Chillicothe hit their free throws, going
14 of 15 at the charity stripe in the game. |
