Sophomore Nate McKiddy scored the first seven points for Chillicothe
and went on to lead his team to a 66-50 win at Excelsior Springs.
McKiddy's only trey gave Chillicothe an early 5-0 lead. The
Excelsior Springs Tigers responded with a 6-0 run to take a brief
one point lead. It would be their only lead of the game.
Chillicothe led by 5 after one and by just four at the
half, but started the 3rd quarter on an 11-0 run and led by double
figures the rest of the night.
Chillicothe was with out starting guard Mason Hayward,
who was at home under the weather. |
