Ryan Smith had his best game of the season, popping in
22 points and grabbing 7 rebounds to lead the Hornets to a
68-47 win over Marshall for Senior Night, their biggest point
production of the season.
Chillicothe, which started all five seniors on Senior
Night, got off to a slow start at the beginning of the game,
allowing Marshall the first three points of the night.
Chillicothe answered with an 8-0 run and never trailed again.
The best Marshall could do was tie the game at the start of
the second quarter. Chillicothe led by 13 at half and by 25
several times in the fourth quarter.
With their 13th win, Chillicothe is guaranteed their
first winning boys basketball season in 9 years.
