Macon scored the first two buckets in the game, but
it was all Chillicothe after that with a 68-38 win for the
Lady Hornets. Chillicothe answered opening 4-0 run with their
own 10-0 run and CHS never trailed again.
Chillicothe again used quick, sound ball movement and a
tenacious press that forced numerous turnovers during the
game. Macon closed the game to 3 in the second quarter but
Chillicothe answered that with a 20-0 run and ended up leading
by 20 at the intermission.
Whitney Clampitt had a break out game with 21
points and countless steals off the Lady Hornets press. Maggie
Graves started slow, missing her first four shots before
turning up the head and finishing with 16 points.
For the
second straight night, everyone for Chillicothe saw ample
playing time and had a running clock for the final two minutes
of the game.
