A close game was blown open
thanks to Chillicothe Freshman Whitney Clampitt who had back
to back steals and lay up in the third quarter. The baskets
sparked a 10-0 run in the second half of the third quarter
that turned a 4 point lead into a 14 point lead.
Savannah started the game strong, holding a slim lead
for the first 4 minutes. Chillicothe tied the game with 4:03
left in the 1st quarter and led the rest of the game except
for the opening Savannah trey in the 2nd quarter that briefly
tied the game once again. |
