Savannah Tournament 1st round

       
     Chillicothe scored the first ten points of the game then hung on to beat Platte County 52-46 in the opening round of the Savannah Tournament.
     The Hornets built a 20 point lead in the second quarter but Platte County closed it to an 11 point lead after three and closed it to with in four points late in the game when they made one free throw, missed the second one, grabbed the rebound and sank a trey for a four-point play. Chillicothe nailed two late free throws to secure the win.
