Savannah Tournament Semi-Finals

       
     A trey from the right win at the buzzer fell off it's mark and the Chillicothe Hornets lost a heartbreaker to KC Hogan Prep 58-57 in the Savannah Tournament Semi-Finals
     The two teams started the game trading buckets but Hogan Prep put together an 11-0 run in the 1st and early 2nd quarters that proved to be the difference. Chillicothe was down by 6 at halftime but took a 1 point lead early in the 3rd quarter, then again with about 3:00 minutes left in the game.
     Hogan Prep responded with three straight buckets to lead by five. Chillicothe answered with four straight free throws to close it to one point with 46.6 seconds left.

     Hogan Prep had chances late in the game to extend the lead but missed multiple free throws. With 2.7 seconds left in the game, Chillicothe in-bounded it back court, crossed the free throw line and had Nate McKiddy shoot a right wing trey with defenders around him. The shot came up just short at the buzzer.
