Three free throws in the final 1:11 was the deciding factor in
a 45-41 Chillicothe Hornets loss to Lawson in the Class 3
District 15 championship.
Chillicothe scored first to start the fourth
quarter for a two point lead, but fouls that led to free
throws proved to be the undoing of Chillicothe. Lawson hit 7
of 11 free throws in the 4th quarter, compared to 1 of 2 for
Chillicothe. Lawson's final free throw came with 4 seconds
left that turned the game into a 4 point lead. |
