Lady Hornets Tennis

Youth,
nerves and one missing team mate led to Savannah edging Chillicothe
in the Girls Tennis season opener 5-4. Chillicothe picked up wins at
#2 and #6 singles and #2 and #3 doubles. The Lady Hornets came up
just shy of a win at #3 and #5 singles.
Coach Amanda Marsh saw a lot of nerves from her young
players before and during the match. The team was also with out #4
player Danielle Rapp.
"I think my girls played hard but struggled to calm
down and play their tennis." Marsh said the girls are young and
learning, and feels they will continue to improve with every match,
win or lose. |
