Sophomore Gracy Reeter won her
#1 singles match and #1 doubles match with Hannah Cypert

I feel like my girls played really hard and made
the Trenton players work for every point. Trenton has a very deep
team. They place the ball well and we are still working on just
being consistent. We are young and learning a lot very quickly. I
have a competitive, hard working team that doesn't like to lose, so
I look forward to playing Trenton again because I think it could be
a very different outcome.
I am extremely proud of Gracy Reeter and Hannah
Cypert for winning doubles and Gracy for winning her singles. Those
girls figured out quickly their opponents weaknesses and were able
to capitalize on that for our wins in the match. They were focused
start to finish and never let up. Two well deserved wins for them!
I am also extremely proud of Mae VanFossen. Her singles
match ended 8-10 and she has been battling back issues this season.
That is an extremely long grueling match and she hung in and never
gave up. That kind of drive is what makes her a great senior leader! |
