The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team scored early and often in an 8-0
season opening win at Cameron. It took the Hornets just five minutes
into the contest to find the net when Senior Bryce Hague scored off
a Gavin Seeley assist. Sophomore C J Pfaff scored in the 11th minute
unassisted and six minutes after that, Junior Ethan Corbin scored on
a corner kick off an assist from Brennan Munson. The two teamed up
again in the 25th minute to make the score 4-0
Freshman Mason Baxter scored the first of his two goals
one minute later unassisted, then scored in the 30th minute off a
Bryce Hague assist. Seeley scored off Munson's second assist on a
corner kick play in the 33rd minute to round out the first half
scoring.
Senior Foreign Exchange student Adam Palasti finished
the scoring in the 58th minute off Bryce Hague's second assist
for the final 8-0 score

Cunningham stated Drew Toedebusch had the shut out with 2 saves in
the match and had solid defensive support from Defenders Hunter
Horton, Logan Minnick, Jacob Chapman and Ethan Corbin. The Hornets
had 28 shots on goal and nine corner kicks for the match to
Cameron's two shots on goal and no corner kicks.
Due to low numbers for Cameron there was no Junior
Varsity match.
