The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 2-0 win at St Joseph Lafayette. The Hornets had goals from Mason Baxter in the 10th minute  and from Bryce Hague with a header off a Brennan Munson corner kick play in the 65th minute. Drew Toedebusch had the shut out with 3 saves.
     Coach Tim Cunningham called it an all around gritty performance tonight.
     "Our defense was strong once again and our midfield did a great job maintaining possession of the ball."
Chillicothe opens the Excelsior Springs Tournament against the host team at 5:00pm on Thursday.
