     The Chillicothe Boys Soccer team gave up their first goal of the season and took their first loss of the season in a 1-0 loss to the host team in the Excelsior Springs Tournament.
     The lone goal, the first allowed by Chillicothe after 3 straight shut outs, came in the 19th minute off a log kick by Diego Zapata unassisted.
     Hornets keeper Drew Toedebusch had 6 saves. The Tigers took 10 shots on goal to Chillicothe's 6 with 1 corner kick apiece.

      09/02 - Chillicothe 1, Maryville 1
      Chillicothe came from behind to tie Maryville 1-1 in a morning game. Maryville scored in the 61st minute on a Thomas Distefano goal, then three minutes later the Hornets Hunter Horton scored on a corner kick from Bryce Hague
     09/02 - Warrensburg 3, Chillicothe 0

     Warrensburg scored twice in the first half with goals by JT Sherman and Ryan Russell. In the second half Jayce Lewis scored with three minutes to go in the match
