Columbia Hickman scored the first points in the basketball
game, but it was all Chillicothe after that in a 58-47 game
that wasn't as close as the final score indicates.
Hickman's 6'3" post player scored in the opening
seconds, but picked up two quick fouls in the opening minute
and sat on the bench the rest of the first half.
Chillicothe responded with a 13-0 run and led by double
figures most of the rest of the game, including by as many as
23 points in the 4th quarter.
Hickman ended the game on a 10-0 run when
Chillicothe was called for walks and suffered turnovers while
trying to milk out the final two minutes of the game. |
