vvvvvKirksville scored a goal in the second minute of the match to take an early 1 - 0 lead. However, the next 35 minutes saw an even match with both teams earning a few scoring opportunities.
     With 3 minutes to go in the first half, Kirksville took advantage of a perfectly played ball to the middle of the field and took a 2 - 0 lead going into the half.
     The second half saw the Tigers overwhelm the Hornets with their talent, speed, and experience, scoring 4 times.
Daniel Hedrick made 11 saves for the Hornets in goal.
