Chillicothe Junior Hunter Keithley scored the first points in
the game on a three point shot, and Chillicothe led the rest
of the game for a 62-48 win over previously unbeaten Marshall.
Chillicothe Junior Jordan Hibner was on fire,
finishing with 25 points including seven treys in the game out
of 12 attempts. Official single-game three point shooting
records for the Lady Hornets do not exist at this point.
Chillicothe built a 19 point lead early in the
fourth quarter but Marshall started to press, forcing turnovers
and creating free throw opportunities to narrow the lead to
eight points, but it was never closer than that the rest of
the game. |
