at Cameron Tournament 3rd Place
Chillicothe had 22
points from Essie Hicks and late game heroics to win 3rd place
in the Cameron Tournament.
Chillicothe Junior post player Brooke Horton hit a low
post shot with 35 seconds left and hit a bonus free throw to
give Chillicothe a 1 point lead.
Essie Hicks then scored her 22nd point in the game,
going 1 of 2 at the free throw line.
Cameron had the ball with a low post shot attempt with
1.6 seconds left but the shot was blocked out of bounds by
Horton. The Lady Dragons could not get a shot off before the
final buzzer. |
