     Smithville had a strong fourth quarter to beat the Chillicothe Lady Hornets 46 to 36 in the opening round of the Savannah Tournament.
     The points difference was never more than four points until the start of the fourth quarter when Smithville, leading by two, started the quarter with back to back buckets. The lead was still single digits until late in the game.
     Chillicothe plays Platte County in the consolation semi-finals. The Lady Pirates lost to St Joseph Benton 58-23.
