Boys Basketball Banquet

and the Hornet Boys Basketball Program.

A
great Boys Basketball season was honored at the annual Chillicothe
Boys Basketball Banquet. The team finished 18-9 overall and 5-2 in
the Midland Empire Conference. The team started all underclassmen
and had just one Senior on the team.
Senior Chace Corbin was usually the first player off
the bench. Corbin had not been on the team since he was a 5' 0"
Freshman. Cool stated Corbin brought energy and effort in practice.
He was an all-state soccer player and qualified for the MSHSAA Boys
State Singles Tennis Tournament as a Junior.
Coach Tim Cool praised the young team at the
Banquet, saying "These guys (freshmen and sophomores) are developing
as they go, but at the varsity level, we expect to win. More than
that, we expect to be our best, the best version of each person
makes us the best version of ourself.
Cool also highlighted James Mathew who, as a Sophomore,
led the Conference in rebounds with 212.
Assistant Coach Tim Cunningham highlighted some
of the memorable moments through the season.
