The Chillicothe Hornets had
a strong first quarter but couldn't hold the lead down the
stretch in a loss at home to the Macon Tigers. Chillicothe
built a 13 point lead in the first quarter but allowed Macon
to tie it up late in the second quarter.
The Hornets rebuilt a nine point lead twice in
the third quarter but led by just one by the end of the
quarter. Macon took the lead early in the final quarter,
leading by single digits. A James Mathew free throw with 1:50
left in the game made it a tie score, but a Macon trey by
Mykel Linear gave them the led for good. Four straight free
throws in the final seconds secured the Macon win. |
