Chillicothe lost at home to Kirksville 4 to 1. the Hornets had their
chances, but had trouble getting the ball into the net.
Kirksville scored three minutes into game and led the
rest of the match. They built a 2-0 lead nine minutes into the
contest and let 3-0 at halftime after a goal late in the first half.
Chillicothe answered with a goal 20 minutes into the second half,
but an insurance goal late in the game sealed the Kirksville win.
Chillicothe was active on offense but couldn't find the
net. Sam Reeter and Wyatt Brandsgaard both had four unsuccessful shots
on goal and Jackson Reeter and Gabe Hansen each had two shots on
goal.
