Chillicothe kept the pressure on Savannah and beat the Savages
5-0 in the first round of the district tournament.
. The Hornets started the scoring ten minutes into
the game on a Jacob Adams goal off a Sam Reeter assist. Four minutes
later it was Jackson Reeter off an Adams assist. Midway through the
first half Jadon Collins scored off a Sam Reeter assist for a 3-0
lead,
The first half onslaught continued when Wyatt
Brandsgaard received a feed from Jonny Sanchez for a 4-0 lead
that would hold up at halftime
The final Chillicothe goal came with five
minutes left in the contest with a Sam Reeter goal off a Japhet
Ojeaga assist.
The Hornets had 16 shots on goal including
four from Collins, three from Jackson Reeter and Wyatt Brandsgaard,
two from Jacob Adams and Sam Reeter and one each from Josh Adams,
James Mathew.
