at Kirksville 40, Chillicothe 14
Senior Running Back Cayden Potter took the firsthand
off of the game through a huge hole on the right side of
the line and 84 yards later gave Chillicothe a 7-0 lead 15
seconds into the start of the game.
Unfortunately, Kirksville responded with six straight
touchdowns through the air, the ground, and a pick-six. Chillicothe scored halfway through the fourth quarter for
the final score of the night. Cayden Potter was a
highlight of the offense with 19 carries for 145
yards, however 84 of those yards came on the first
offensive play. The passing game also struggled,
completing 1 of 7 passes, but with three interceptions.
Kirkville was solid on offense with 187 rushing
and 108 passing yards.
