The Chillicothe
Lady Hornets jumped out to a big lead early and opened up
their basketball campaign with a 73-18 win at Penney High of
Hamilton girls.
Chillicothe pulled away early, leading 33 to 3 after the
first quarter. A large part of that first quarter was the
outside shooting of Jessica Reeter, who hit four of her seven
treys in the first quarter plus a deuce for 14 of her 23
points in the first quarter. The seven made treys tied her for
second place in the School Records.
Jolie Bonderer also had a solid game with 18 points. Delanie
Kieffer and Liz Oliver each had nine, Izzie Montgomery with 5,
Lyla Beetsma with4, Kayanna Cranmer and Kealee French with 2,
a free throw for Bre Pithan and playing time for Ava Leamer
and Emily Schreiner.
Hamilton was led by Aniston Houghton with 10 of their 18
points. |
