The Chillicothe girls
earned the lead early in the 1st Quarter and led the rest of
the way to hand Class 2 East Buchanan just their second loss
of their season. Chillicothe's defense shined in the game,
especially in the second half, East Buchanan's start player
and future Drury College player Gracie Kelsey to just 13
points.
In a rare statistic, Chillicothe held each of East
Buchanan's teams scoreless in at least one quarter. East
Buchanan Varsity was held scoreless in the 3rd quarter, their
Junior Varsity was held scoreless until 2:30 left in the
second quarter and their C-Team was held scoreless until 3:14
left in the third quarter. |
