From Coach Chapman: "Yesterday afternoon we lost 1-0 to Excelsior Springs. They scored sometime in the 1st half. It was too rainy to keep stats so we didn't other than our own. We had 14 shots to their 10, most of those 10 came in the first half. Hadley Beemer made 9 saves.
     We controlled the ball a majority of the time after the goal, we just were unable to find the back of the net. Their keeper and defense made some really nice plays. If we play that game 10 times we win 5 times and they win 5 times. A true 50-50 game.
     I'm proud of the team this year, they played hard all game long and stayed together and fought for each other. We went through a lot of adversity this year, a lot of it out of our control, but the players who stuck with it came out the other side better off. I want to thank our seniors for 4 years of their time and commitment to the team and program and their leadership and the example they've shown the under classmen. "
