     The Lady Hornets won  the Grain Valley Tournament Championship with a  win over the host Grain Valley Lady Eagles 55 to 46. The Lady Eagles built a 2point lead at the end of the first quarter but the Lady Hornets answered in the second to lead 25 to 18 at halftime. The Third quarter was another strong one for Grain Valley to lead by one, but the fourth quarter belonged to the Lady Hornets.
     Jolie Bonderer had her typical strong game with 20 points. Liz Oliver had one of her best games so far with 16 points.
     Fouls were a key with 16 called on Grain Valley, resulting in Chillicothe hitting 17 of 20 from the charity stripe.
