     The Class 4 #3 State ranked Lady Hornets avenged the only blemish on their record so far with a 41-36 come from behind home win over the Class 5 #6 ranked Smithville. Lady Warriors.
     Smithville was hot early in the game with a 16-4 lead after the first quarter and 23-15 halftime lead. Chillicothe chipped away at the lead in the third and finished strong in the final quarter for the win.
     Senior Kayanna Cranmer had a strong game, leading the Lady Hornets with 15 points. Jolie Bonderer was in vintage form with 14 points against a taller opponent. Free Throws were also key with the Lady Hornets hitting 15 out of 19 charity tosses compared to Smithville' 9 of 10.
