   The Lady Hornets became the first girls basketball team in CHS history to finish the season with a win, taking 3rd place in the Class4 State Tournament, beating Owensville 50 to 39.
     Liz Oliver had a strong game with 21 points and seven rebounds. She rebounded a missed shot, put it back in with 1:52left in the first period fpr a 10-9 Lady Hornet lead, and they led the rest of the game. Owensville made it exciting, closing the gap to five points in the late 3rd quarter. However CHS hit a couple of 4th quarter treys to pull away for the win.
