Coach says:
    The Hornets traveled to Marshall to take on the Owls Thursday night.   Marshall boasts a senior laden squad with talent and experience.  
     The Hornets didn’t back down from the challenge and went toe to toe with the Owls for most of the night.  However the experience of the Owls took over and the Hornets were defeated 8-0. 
      Jesse Hughes was in goal for Chillicothe and had 9 saves on the night.   The youthful Hornets learned a lot and continue to get better through the young season. 
     The loss puts the varsity Hornets to 1-1 (1-0 MEC).  Next match is the home opener vs Lafayette in Tuesday.
